Jeera Aloo is also known as fried aloo, Aloo bhurji or Jeere wale aloo. People from different states or regions call it differently. This recipe is not a speciality of any state but a speciality of all the mothers of India who need to make fresh, yummy, and quick recipes for their kids for their lunch. Jeera is called Cumin in English and is a very important part of Indian recipes that serves a distinctive aroma and taste.

6 to 8 normal-sized potatoes (Potatoes)
2 normal-sized onions
1 tsp of finely chopped garlic
1 tsp green chilli
Furthermore, the recipe needs very limited spices but the spices should be pure and aromatic.
Spices
One tsp salt
1 tsp Pranati Jeera
Half tsp Pranti haldi
Half tsp vegetable masala
Half tsp Pranati Kasuri methi
Preparation
- Take a Kadai, add 3 to 4 tbsp of vegetables, and let it heat.
- Add jeera and let it crackle. Now add garlic, and wait for the garlic to turn golden.
- Now add potatoes, and mix them well with garlic. Wait until they turn golden.
- It’s time to add sliced onions, green chilli and mix them well with potatoes. Let it cook for 2 to 4 mins.
- Now add One tsp salt, Half tsp Pranti Haldi, and Half tsp vegetable masala now mix them well with potatoes. Let it cook until the potatoes get soft.
- Once the potatoes are done add half a tsp Pranati Kasuri methi and saute well.
Your jeera aloo is ready to eat with chapati or paratha.
